Flashlights & Lanterns

One of the most important items to have in your emergency kit is a good flashlight.  During an emergency, it is likely that power may be disrupted and you will not have any lights.  Check your emergency flashlights and batteries on a regular basis to ensure that they are in good working order, and keep spare batteries on hand in case the emergency lasts longer than you anticipate.
