Custom Kit FAQ
1. What are custom kits?
Custom kits are any combination of emergency preparedness items that you would like to put together into a "kit". Custom kits are available for individuals, companies, schools or government entities.
2. Are custom kits expensive?
Custom kits are not necessarily more expensive. It depends on what is included in the kit, the number of kits you are ordering and the difficulty of the kit being put together.
3. In there a minimum order quantity for custom kits?
No, there is no minimum quantity, however, the more kits you order, the better the price will be due to volume discounts.
4. Can I just modify one of the existing kits you have on your site to meet my needs?
Yes, it is often easier to find a kit that almost meets your needs and then add or take away specific items.
5. Can I send you a list of items I need in my custom kit?
Yes, if you know what you want to put in your kit, please send us the list by email to email@example.com or by fax to 310-676-3153. Please include as much detail as possible on the items so we can provide what you need.
6. Can you create a custom label for the custom kit?
Yes, a custom label sticker or hang tag can be created with or without a custom logo which can include company name, contact information, kit contents and any additional items you need.
7. Can you silk-screen or embroider my logo on the bag?
Yes, your logo can be imprinted or embroidered onto any backpack, duffel or other soft bag. We will require a high resolution vector file with camera-ready artwork of the logo. You will receive a digital proof that will need to be approved to begin production. Custom imprinted orders will require a 50% deposit at the start of production. Imprinted bags are not returnable unless they are defective.
8. What is the turnaround time for a custom kit?
Lead times depend on the items in the kit as well as the quantity that is ordered. We can provide an estimated ship date at the time of quote.
9. What is the process if I want to order a custom kit?
a) Contact us via phone at 888.733.7245 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org to provide us with your request. The basic information we will need are the kit contents, the quantity you are interested in, the ship-to zip code, delivery deadline, if any and a budget if you would like to share this with us.
b) We will provide you with a quote, usually within 24 hours or less. If we have any detailed questions, we will contact you. Changes can be made to the quote after you receive it until you are happy with it.
c) Once you decide to order, we will require a 50% deposit for custom imprinted kits to begin production. If you are submitting a purchase order and cannot make a deposit up front, we may require a credit application.
