Culver City Residents

Welcome to the Culver City residents emergency "Water First" emergency water storage page. Following a disaster, clean drinking water may not be available.  Your regular water source could be cut-off or compromised through contamination.  Prepare yourself by building a supply of water that will meet your family's needs during an emergency.  The City of Culver City would like to encourage you to get prepared by purchasing a 55 gallon Emergency Water Storage System.

We have partnered with More Prepared to offer Culver City residents, for a limited time, a chance to purchase a 55 Gallon Water Storage System at a discounted price.  Each water storage system includes a 55 gallon barrel, siphon pump, water preserver, and a plastic bung wrench. If you have an existing barrel, you can also order just the water preserver for pickup on the same day.

This special promotion is available with FREE delivery to your local fire station.  All orders must be received by September 30, 2023. You will pick up your water storage system at the Fire Station (9600 Culver Blvd.) on Saturday, October 7th, 2023 between 9-11:00am.  Pick up on October 7th is mandatory, since we have no storage.

Pick Up Agreement – By placing this order, you agree to pick up your barrel(s) on the date and time noted above. This is a mandatory requirement for participation in this program and no refunds will be provided for barrels that are not picked up.

**Please select "Curbside Pickup" when checking out and enter your address in the shipping address fields. Your order will not be shipped but will be at the fire station on October 7 for pickup.**
